Steps to set up a Sharjah Mainland Company
1. Select the business activity
You must first choose the category of business activity. The sort of company
license you must then get is entirely up to you
2. Find a local Sponsor
You will require a local sponsor if you are a foreign investor. The sponsor
must be a citizen of the UAE and hold 51% of the company's shares in addition
to being a partner in the business.
3. Get the MOA and company’s lease agreement signed by a public notary
Get a MOA, which is a written document that demonstrates an agreement for
partnership between the parties. The document must be notarized. In addition,
you need to locate office space and get the lease document notarized.
4. Furnish the necessary documents
For the purpose of acquiring a trade license, all necessary documentation must
be provided. These papers might change based on the nature of your firm.
5. Pay the license fees
You must pay the licensing cost required to get a trade license.
6. Apply for an Establishment Card
An establishment card must be requested from the Immigration Authority. It's
basically a plastic card with information about your business on it
7. Obtain approval from the Name board
You have to provide the authorities three distinct name suggestions. The name
must be original and free of offensive terms. Additionally, neither the Arabic
nor English names of God are permitted.
8. Request authorization from Ministry of Labour before hiring a worker.
For your staff, you must get an entry visa and a work permit from the Ministry
