Sharjah International Airport Free (SAIF) Zone is a dynamic Free Zone, which offers a viable business environment for all business types. It aims at promoting business operations by offering easy access to cargo airports, ports and warehouses. The SAIF Zone infrastructure has been built to meet the emerging demands of a wide spectrum of businesses.

Started with just 55 companies, the SAIF Zone is now home to over 6,500 businesses. SAIF Zone is one of the free zones in the UAE that makes it easy for entrepreneurs to conduct business regionally as well as globally, mainly due to its proximity to the Sharjah International Airport. Its strategic location determines the improved speed of service and encourages simplicity in the process of company set up in the Emirate.

SAIF Zone was incorporated in 1995, becoming the first Airport Free Zone in the Middle East. Business owners benefit from the five container ports and two cargo airports located close to this Free Zone, which ease logistics. SAIF Zone has witnessed exponential growth since its incorporation. The robust infrastructure it has built for investors and the simple steps with which businesses can be established in this free zone have added significantly to its development.
